Erika is originally from Puebla Mexico and has lived in the United States for twelve years. She has served the Minneapolis community through different organizations, working with children, teens, and adults of diverse cultures and languages. Erika is honored to be part of the Wellstone fellowship.
In her work with various community organizations, Erika has advocated, consulted, and facilitated in the following areas: School readiness, prenatal care, interpreter, children's special needs, reproductive health, domestic abuse, nutrition, lead testing and healthy living. Erika is married with four children.
