Rena Moran-Stewart was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She has been a resident of Minnesota for 7 years. Currently living in St. Paul's Summit-U area, she's a local resident leader and founding organizer and Block Captain for the Aurora/Grotto Block Club.
Rena is a graduate of the Wilder Foundation's Neighborhood Leadership Program and served as a Community Blueprint to End Poverty Fellow through Community Action Partnership. She also serves as a Girl Scout troop leader for girls ages 13 - 15 and has a passion for empowering and encouraging youth to know their worth. Rena is a mother of 7 and Grandmother of 1.
Rena is committed to social justice for all of humanity and hopes to one day become one of Minnesota most effective organizer and leader representing her community, her city and the state of Minnesota.
