Fawn Bernhardt-Norvell
has worked with non-profits and campaigns for over 17 years. She is the
Director of Development and Operations and a founder of Wellstone Action. Fawn
began her career as the Assistant Finance Director of the Wellstone Alliance in
1994. She continued doing development work for several area nonprofits
before landing at The Center for Victims of Torture in 1996. There, she
was Manager of Institutional and Individual Philanthropy, specializing in
direct mail, events, and foundation fundraising. In 2001, she joined Paul
Wellstone's 2002 U.S. Senate campaign as the Deputy Finance Director.
Fawn volunteers and mentors campaign finance teams for many local, state, and
national campaigns. In 2007, she was named a "Forty Under 40" Twin Cities
leader by the Minneapolis
/ St. Paul Business Journal. She also proudly serves on the Board of Project
SUCCESS, a nonprofit that helps middle- and high-school students in the Twin
Cities realize their dreams after graduation by introducing them to the arts.
Fawn earned her B.A. in International Affairs from Lewis and Clark College.
