America Votes is a coalition of progressive organizations working together to educate and mobilize progressive voters nationwide. America Votes partners have registered tens of thousands of new voters, talked to hundreds of thousands of people, and now are mounting a massive GOTV effort in battleground states. People for the American Way has launched a national Election Protection program to assure that citizen's voting rights are not violated in anyway. Election Protection 2004, online at www.electionprotection2004.org, is a coalition of over 100 organizations working together training and mobilizing volunteers to work to protect voter's rights on Election Day. Election Protection 2004 has also set up a national hotline for people who have encounter problems voting. Please call 1-866-OURVOTE, if you need legal help on Election Day.
Get Out Her Vote is a project sponsored by the Feminist Majority Foundation to get women to the polls on November 2nd. There website is packed with reasons to vote and ways to get involved.
