Young people have brought new skills, creativity and energy to the progressive movement in recent years.
In 2004 and 2006, young people innovated and tested new ways to mobilize voters-including person-to-person organizing with campus groups, social network organizing, and cultural outreach.
Young people are also leading the fight on issues like Fair Trade, environmental justice, tuition and student debt reduction, immigration rights, gender and GLBT issues, and prison reform.
